A women-centred community · Guildford, Surrey

Real people.
Real connection.
Real life.

Less scrolling, more meaningful connection. MULARA brings women together for real-life experiences that help you feel more connected to yourself — and make room to connect more openly with others. And you leave with simple things you can use long after the afternoon ends.

Come solo. Bring a friend. Make a new one. You don’t have to be anyone but yourself.

For everything beyond the everyday.
A place to be, not another place to do

We make plans to catch up.
Let’s make room to actually connect.

Group chats, full calendars, and a world that never quite switches off. It’s easy to be in touch without feeling truly connected.

MULARA is a women-centred community built around showing up in real life — without the networking voice, keeping up appearances or pressure to share. Just experiences that make space for genuine connection.

We use breath, movement, reflection and shared experiences to help you find a little more ease in yourself — and bring that feeling into the way you connect with others. Not just a lovely few hours, but something to carry into real life.

Our first two circles

Two ways to connect. One community.

Some days you need a little room for yourself. Other days you want a proper catch-up, a laugh, or something different to do with your friends.

Both circles are designed for women aged 18+. Come on your own or with someone you know — there's no pressure to share, perform or be the life of the party.

MULARA Chamomile

A little space that's yours.

Breathe. Soften. Rest.

A quieter circle for women who want to unwind and reconnect with themselves. Think gentle breathing, easy movement, guided relaxation, deep rest and a little time to reflect.

Come solo, or with a friend who needs a breather too. No need to talk, explain yourself or figure anything out.

MULARA Marigold

Your next catch-up, with a little more life.

Breathe. Move. Laugh. Connect.

For friends who fancy something beyond the usual brunch — and for anyone who wants to meet new people. Music, expressive movement, playful energy, reflection and a warm drink are part of the experience. Cacao may be offered at selected sessions.

That open, chatty, alive feeling — without needing a few drinks first. No dance skills or forced sharing. Come solo or bring your friends.

Both circles include a warm drink and space for real conversation. Join in at your own pace. New connections are welcome, never compulsory.

Who is MULARA for?

Come as you are. Come for whatever you need.

A different way to spend time with your friends. A little space just for yourself. Or the start of a new friendship. There’s no single reason to come.

Brunch again? We love a catch-up over food. But sometimes you fancy doing something different with your friends.
Coming on your own?Brilliant. You don't need a plus-one, a polished introduction or a ready-made group.
Want some proper me-time?Chamomile is your chance to unwind, slow down and hear yourself think.
New to Guildford?Meet women beyond your usual circles, without awkward networking or forced icebreakers.
A new mum craving adult company?Come for a moment that's about you, not your to-do list.
In a new chapter?New job, new city, shifting friendships or just ready to try something new — you're welcome here.

No performance. No social obligations. No need to open up before you’re ready. Just real people sharing some space.

A little science. A little history.

The power of a breath.

You've been breathing your whole life. But have you ever thought about how? Between screens, deadlines and the general chaos of being human, our bodies can spend a lot of time on alert.

Your breath and nervous system influence each other. Gentle, comfortable breathing may help you slow down and feel a little more settled.

Not a magic fix. Just something useful to know — and practise.

The older perspective

Meet prana.

In traditional Indian philosophy, prana is often described as life force or vital energy. Breath has long been part of how people explore that idea, including through pranayama.

It's a fascinating tradition, not a scientific measurement of energy. We like knowing where practices come from — and what modern science can (and can't) tell us about them.

What stays with you

More than a nice afternoon. Something to take home.

A spa day can help you switch off. Brunch can be a brilliant catch-up. But what happens when life switches back on? At MULARA, the experience is just the beginning. You get time to connect — plus a little toolkit of breathing, movement, reflection and ways to be more present with people, so the good stuff doesn’t have to end when you leave.

Real life. Real people.
“Come for the experience. Stay for the connection.”
